OK, that makes sense to me. Bitcoin has loads of txes per block, so lists of hashes end up adding up pretty fast compared to tx sizes.

Hi, trying to download Monero to create a wallet, but have a 32 bit windows. Can I download 64 bit download for windows? I have already verified all just need to do the hashes.

If you run into issues then you can delete the .bitmonero directory and start the sync from scratch, but it should be able to salvage the leftover db info

i just imported the wallet and synced it with a remote node but it shows 0 balance.

Check the refresh from block height setting is <= the first tx you made for that address.

(and rescan)

you can check it under Settings -> Info under "wallet creation height"

If it still doesn't work, use your node. If not, you're trusting some random stranger will not try to mess with you.

If you do this, it'll guess at a creation height based on your system time. If it's wrong, you messed up. Ohterwise, it should be good enough.
