moneromooo
Make an account on github. Login. Go to "repositories". Click "new". Add a remote to that repo in your .git/config. push $remotename master.

lol
-
moneromooo
Adding a remote is basically: copy the three line for "origin", replace "origin" with, eg, github (remote name) and replace the url to the repo with yours.

moneromooo
Was that a joke I missed ? :D

I'm looking to optimize my node for electricity consumption. Currently running a full Bitcoin and Monero node on an Acer Predator G3610 desktop running Ubuntu 18.04, and solo mining Monero. None of this is for profit so that's a non-issue, I just want to support the networks and mining Monero as a "lottery in the background". Are there any options I can change (aside from # of cores used for mining - currently 4/8) that will use less ele

ctricity?
-
moneromooo
I guess more RAM, so less swap.
-
moneromooo
No idea whether that'll register, but maybe build your binary for your particular machine if you haven't.
-
moneromooo
I suspect it'll be de minimis though.

Is there anyone around that knows Borromean ring signatures and would mind helping me through some areas? Specifically, if the key we know is the last one in its group, doesn't that conflict with e0?
-
PlasmaPower
also, when the diagram given in the paper is for (P0 | P1 | P2) & (P0' | P3 | P4) . What does it mean by P0' ?

PlasmaPower
oops, meant to post this in #monero-dev, moving there
