I don't think any botnet has more than 500k active PCs at the same time, and these are usually weak old PCs

what does the attack entail?

imo the primary concern is network destabilization due to massive reorgs or a general denial of service, but those are all sustained attacks

and monero could mitigate (or ameliorate) the consequences of such attacks if we referenced outputs via ID instead of index

but i have yet to learn c++ to that level yet

that would make ouputs 4x larger
