if you read the article theres an app that they were using because its not new i guess. im sure there will be something else or that app will be updated.

Plus, it is a weak solution, as you are assuming you can know all Apple servers to block them, and that could not be the case, as Apple can easily update their server list and conceal them. It is an uphill battle that seems lost before starting.

I read it now. They are talking about modifying the system, instead of blocking the servers. Seems a lost cause in a proprietary system too.

Yeah, that's usually the issue with new OS. The OS is the "easy" part. They would benefit from some kind of Android emulation layer so you can run Android apps until the local ecosystem grows.

we can't get Cake and other wallets to sync

there are some malicious nodes on the network still but I haven't had any issues with my node so I'm not sure what effect they're having on the broader network right now. Are you connecting to random nodes or what? I think Cake defaults to using the Cakewallet dev team controlled nodes
