even if you have a random address people still memorise the first few characters once they've visited it a few times

so you're a phishing target either way

Sorry, sgp_ don't want to sound rude, just clarifying we are delivering things people like and use, and will use in the future even if they prefer to not contribute to it. it's their decision to do so or to use free-ride once everything is done, which all of us do with most of the tools we use everyday

If the comments had been made before the thread was removed I would agree, but expecting the mods to continue to moderate stuff that's been shut down to the best of our abilities already is a bit of a high bar

I think the problem is resolved by simply adding a sticky comment when a thread is removed specifying the reason, as dEBRUYNE did. I think would be a good idea to always add a sticky note after a post is removed, if you don't do it already.
