hello, If i am running a node on my local network. What are the requirements to use that node from another computer using the wallet-cli? I tried using --daemon-address 192.168.0.2:18081 with prot 18081 being open on the computer running the node, but it doesnt seem to connect. Are there other requirements needing? Sould there be a user such as --daemon-address user⊙110:18081?

so you need to start it up listening on 192.168.0.2 otherwise it won't be reachable

Well, it does accelerate getting new blocks after first sync, on average, typically.

But you usually don't really care unless you're a pool or the like.

if you want to accelerate your wallet syncing with the daemon you can keep the daemon on an ssd

otherwise it's pretty slow

actually i did so, but i ran out of space fast, and i did not have option but stop the vm move it to another external HD and start it
