Would anyone here be able to help me, or point me in the right direction for getting help, with installing the gui-wallet on ubuntu budgie 20.04? I've downloaded the binary from getmonero.org but when I try to start it it just opens a clear window with visual artifacts then crashes.

kaz, seems like you have problems with the blockchain. Maybe it's corrupt.

Salvaging doesn't always work. I'd delete it and just resync. Use a remote node if your want to make an urgent TX.

how do I delete it? I'm having trouble finding the data file, and I am unable to actually input the salvage command as the terminal closes operations after I double click monero and it runs

to be exact, it is currently just an exact copy of monero but with different seed nodes that i'm testing out on. i have two daemons running as seed nodes but for some reason they remain busy and stuck at height 1 so i cant mine with them

I wanted to get the monero logo from the wallet GUI executable

but I didn't want to get it online

so I extracted all pngs from the executable and looked at all of them until I found the logo at address 0x2b1f20f

now that's the purest kind of logo, not some kind of internet-tampered logo

now my monero application in KDE menu has exactly the right logo: serveur.io/Screenshot_20210131210412524.png
