I am new to monero. Anyone know why is the hashrate up?

I heard someone got a massive amount of data center machines to mine.

It's unfortunate those data centers can muster such amounts of hash. That's as bad as ASIC makers really, at first approximation.

But at least it's more visible I suppose.

My hope is if that happens more often that cloud providers monitor for mining more closely

How can they get away with it for so many hours?

Because the data center gets paid for it, most likely :)

anybody here familiar with unstoppabledomains.com? they have the option to tie an xmr address to a .crypto domain and certain wallets can easily send funds to the corresponding xmr address by sending it to the domain. I am wondering if the official gui supports this - which i dont think so, but i know that they support open alias. i m wondering how hard it would be to implement something like that into the official

I don't really agree with using pbkdf2 sha256. Something with randomx and/or sha3 makes more sense to me

use whatever you want, like debian or ubuntu. xmrig supports switching between different algos and some pools like moneroocean.stream can tell it to do that automagically

they even sell the junk coins for you and give you shiny nice monero :)

Hello. I have created and transfered a wallet with 1 x XMR. I have Printed: Private Address; Secret Viewkey and Secret Spend Key. Now I am simulating a disaster on another computer and want to restore the keys from my keys. How can I do that (write the keys)?

I know I can recover from mnemonic... Want to try with the keys
