Tipp for all mining on PC at work or home. Start it with "$ nice -n 19 ./xmrrig". You won't notice that something is running in the background.

on linux that is.

You can set it from -19 = "not so nice" to 19 = "very nice", 0 = normal.

I guess you could do the same thing to monerod for solo mining.

xmrig has a priority settings that basically does the nice call for you.

Consensus rules are the rules every participant in the network must follow for any alteration of the blockchain. Like don't pay yourself more than expected in the coinbase tx. And plenty of other things.

hi guys, im currently stuck in setting up my 15.0.1 monerod... could need some help. I thought that you can just use the --public-node argument to set up a public node correctly. If im doing so ,im getting the following exception:Exception in main! restricted RPC mode is required. Do i need more arguments? I tried several things, but nothing worked
