ErCiccione[m]Anybody elese experiencing the same problem?
-
ErCiccione[m]it seems to be working fine for me
-
sarangI've had issues with other download links (e.g. MRL preprints) that would sometimes give errors based on the www/web prefix
-
sarangUnsure if related
-
ErCiccione[m]Could be
-
ErCiccione[m]fluffypony binaryfate pigeons: could you guys take a look?
-
selstaafaik there is no problem
-
selstasometimes the CDN requires reloading
-
selstawhich is a problem I guess but nothing new
-
sarangHere's an example of how reproduce for papers:
-
sarang
-
sarangopen the MRL-0011 tab and select "Read Paper"
-
sarangI get inconsistent behavior with it loading or not loading the PDF correctly
-
binaryFatesarang can you try again now?
-
sarangI just tried and it appears to load consistently regardless of prefix
-
binaryFateso, fixed?
-
sarangPossibly?
-
sarangIt was inconsistent before
-
sarangIf I notice it happening again, I'll make a note
-
selstanot fixed on my phone
-
selstaI’ll try on desktop
-
binaryFateI flushed the MRL CDN just 2mn ago so try again if you tried earlier
-
selstaok works now
-
selstano idea
-
binaryFateI think the CDN had not been flushed after new MRL material was put online, hence the difference when you were hitting it or not
-
binaryFateFor the issues with binaries mentioned on reddit, without more info I cannot investigate
-
sarangIs a CDN flush a standard procedure after a build?
-
binaryFateYes. But the flush of website and mrl material is different. I suspect the latter had not been done.
-
sarangWhy are they different?
-
binaryFatecause they leave on different boxes for security reasons and have different subdomains. At least the binaries and website, I'm not sure why that was applied to the lab too.
-
sarangThe most secure PDFs, right?
-
saranghehe
-
binaryFatemuch critical :)
-
ErCiccione[m]thanks for fixing binaryfate. Let's see if the problem signaled on reddit is fixed, but i have the feeling it was the same issue.
