suraeNoether: can you change the wording of the updated CLSAG abstract? I don't like including numbered citations in abstracts, since they don't stand on their own

Anyone have a recommendation for a Linux-based plotting tool that's suitable for publication-ready plots, other than gnuplot?

I've used gnuplot for a long time but wonder if there are other recommendations

Can be such a time eater getting to do what you want though.

Seems tough to get gnuplot to produce things that look good, have readable text, easy to view data, etc.

Well, the R user base is scientific people really.

I've also used Origin at a professor's recommendation... worked well overall, but didn't display math nicely, and was $$$
