-
gingeropolous
GUI just keeps going from "connecting" to "disconnected"
-
selsta
works fine here
-
selsta
local node or remote node?
-
gingeropolous
remote
-
gingeropolous
its the uwillrunanodesoon.moneroworld.com:18089
-
gingeropolous
ill try the same setup with a node on local network
-
selsta
it is related to your uwillrunanodesoon.moneroworld.com:18089 node
-
selsta
I also can’t connect to it, but I tried 2 of my v0.17.1.6 remote node and they work fine
-
gingeropolous
naw selsta , the remote node is running v0.17.1.5
-
gingeropolous
ergh, no wait
-
gingeropolous
the remote node is 17.1.6, the GUI is 17.1.5
-
selsta
what exactly no?
-
selsta
I can connect with v0.17.1.5 GUI to v0.17.1.6 nodes, the issue seems related to the uwillrunanodesoon.moneroworld.com:18089 node
-
gingeropolous
well it also isn't working on another node of mine. .... ill pm
-
gingeropolous
OK, issue is fixed. To note, folks need to fiddle with --rpc-restricted-bind-ip and such if they find their old setup isn't working anymore
-
xmrmatterbridge
<agentpatience> --rpc-restricted-bind-ip=0.0.0.0 send it!!!
-
gingeropolous
well its nice to have a restricted rpc and an unrestricted rpc, and my config before relied on firewall blah blah blah
-
gingeropolous
blargh. but now I can't access the unrestricted port from another machine within my own network
-
gingeropolous
ah well.
-
selsta
what did you set it to? 127.0.0.1 ?
-
gingeropolous
yep

Anyone know how to rescue funds that were sent to an integrated subaddress?
-
selsta
stoffu wrote a patch a while ago but it does not seem to work for address index 0:
stoffu/monero 8f75a33
-
selsta
I tried removing the `if (index > 0)` but it did not work.
-
selsta
trying to help someone who used
dustinlemos.com/integrated-address-demo to generate an integrated address out of a subaddress
-
luigi1111w
I'm back now and should be able to figure it out
-
luigi1111w
this week at least
-
moneromooo
Address/account 0 is a special case, it's the standard address, so it should appear normally..
-
selsta
account 1 address 0
-
moneromooo
Hrm. I didn't think address 0 was any different for account > 0.
-
selsta
they begin with 8
-
moneromooo
Same as address 1 though.
