monerod[m]<sarang "It's not about length, it's abou"> That is part of the encryption and used in the key no matter how many words it has.
-
midipoetsarang: usually is not the bit length viewed as a representation (on one dimension) of the level of entropy?
-
Inge-isn't half that length for the spend key and half for the view key?
-
luigi1111no Inge-
-
luigi1111midipoet: sure but it's pretty naive without the second dimension
-
midipoetluigi111: what's the second dimension measured in?
-
midipoetluigi1111: ^
-
luigi1111wait you said bitlength
-
midipoetso the other dimensions entropy as measured by "randomness"? What is the unit of measurement of that though (apologies if stupid question)

selstaSince when does monero call wallets accounts? getmonero.org/resources/moneropedia/account.html
-
selstaFirst time I’ve heard that. Super confusing.
-
dsc_selsta: It's easy. Wallets are accounts, but within accounts you can create additional accounts. And those subaccouns can have subadresses. And if you connect your Ledger Nano S, you can switch ....... the Ledger account.
-
selstawtf lol
-
dsc_And inside your OS you're logged into an user account
-
dsc_I think we can safely say Monero users are actually .... accountants
