  Hey, I'm trying to import the blockchain from the raw file and it freezes at about 1.5 million blocks out of 2 million - every time I restart and resume it does a few more then freezes again - on win10 with default official client. anything I can do to diagnose what's stopping it?

  yes, more than enough. it doesn't completely freeze, it does a few thousand blocks then stops again each time I resume it

  any reason you are syncing up using raw blockchain instead of daemon?

  funny enough, cus the daemon was doing a similar thing and was going super slow after about ~75% - I thought this would be quicker, and it was for the first 75% until it started freezing. I'm guessing it's a coincidence though

  strike: did that answer your question? I personally think ringsize 3 is preferred since the cost is tiny, but ultimately coinbase outputs are mostly a lost cause
