Inge-anyobe ibow the current state of Ledger support for Monero? seeing some reports of errors and claims of latest versions all around
-
Inge-ibow = know
-
Inge-but then, also seeing people having issues with gui and sync still..
-
selstaInge-: more info?
-
selstav0.16.0.1 (CLI/GUI) should have no Ledger related issues, v0.16.0.0 (CLI/GUI) has issues when transferring with multiple inputs.
-
selstaThe GUI does not "sync" so not sure about your second point.
-
Inge-selsta: Yes, that is the exact problem I see people having :D :D
-
Inge-I don't know if it is like a tiny proportion of people, but it pops up from time to time e.g. on the TG groups where people are having issues with zero balances, or locked funds not unlocking - and my guess is that it is related to issues with their local monerod, or possibly issues with some remote nodes if they don't run monerod.
-
selstamost of the time it is people that don’t run their own nodes and then connect to bad remote nodes
-
Inge-I'm guessing the Ledger still has some upper limit on the # of inputs it can manage for a TX generation? I tried somewhere in 0.15 I think with 100+ inputs. It spent a few minutes before puking. 20-30ish was a bit slow but not a problem
-
selstaI don’t think there is a hardcoded limit.
-
selstaBut yea, the device is not strong lol
-
Inge-it was solvable with cli + sweep all below some value
-
dusoSeems to be more people in here than usual, is the channel numbers growing?
-
ashnurgrowing? that is a first order derivative, requires some scale
-
dusoIs there any DEX where you can keep some monero and have a payments card?
