01:33:02 https://github.com/tecan/EcoCoin/tree/master/qtCoin new cryptocurrency framework, ecofriendly no mining. currently i can generate 10000 coins in 3 seconds. looking for devs and investors 01:47:14 no mining on arm? 01:47:41 2020-05-06 01:43:12.066 I Miner thread was started [0] 01:47:41 2020-05-06 01:43:12.076 I Miner thread was started [1] 01:47:41 2020-05-06 01:43:12.383 W Couldn't allocate RandomX dataset for miner 01:49:01 also whats up, "Transaction spends at least one output which is too young" 01:56:46 arm is supported afaik. I don't know any details tho 01:58:44 it shows the error but I can def see the CPU use go up to 60% after running the start_mining commad 02:00:26 ARM is fully supported 02:00:54 the fact that it couldn't allocate the 2GB dataset just means it will mine using the 256MB slow mode 02:01:20 you're wasting electricity & time, but it is still going to mine 02:01:33 I just wanted to see if it would actually mine on arm 02:01:51 those 5 watts are going to kill my electrical bill lol 02:02:34 still, if you can free up 2GB of RAM it'll perform better 02:15:52 ok I guess I realize why. rasbian is 32b not 64b 02:16:46 1 gb ram but 4gb swap. mining monero is a quick way to kill the sd card 02:49:13 swap space isn't going to help you, no 04:54:01 The Raspberry pi 4 is available in a 4GB version. It would be interesting to see how the Raspberry Pi is performing. 04:55:31 https://magpi.raspberrypi.org/articles/how-to-overclock-raspberry-pi-4 04:56:17 Overclocking @ 2.147GHz 04:59:33 lol https://www.seeedstudio.com/Black-Warrior-ICE-Tower-CPU-Cooling-Fan-for-Raspberry-Pi-Support-Pi-4-p-4319.html?utm_source=blog&utm_medium=blog 07:48:07 morning guys, i saw this on the webpage but seems telegram group did not pay much attention, it should be updated since its both wrong and confusing .... 07:48:23 ==>isnt this sentence a bit strange under "Import Blockchain" from the webpage 07:48:23 If you'd prefer to use a raw blockchain instead of syncing from scratch, you can use the most current bootstrap. It is typically much faster to sync from scratch, however, and it also takes a lot less RAM. 07:48:23 It cant be faster to sync from scratch , bootstrap is faster 07:48:23 also the word "however" is sort of confusing 07:50:57 yea I don’t think it is intentional 07:54:23 yeah :) 08:47:54 it is faster to sync from scratch afaik, or at least it was 08:48:05 bootstrap is not faster 08:48:40 yes, that's what i mean 08:48:57 vampyren vampyren said the opposite unless i'm mistaking 11:51:03 bootstrap minus validation? 16:15:25 I did the raw thing a while back. I was on a 100Mb connection, and had to restart download a few times. After download completed, import... I ended up deleting the raw file, and launching monerod to do it's thing. Probably saved me a couple of days. And then a got a SSD. Should have started with that :) 17:19:27 if you know enough about the read/write patterns ahead of time you could use something like PLFS which optimizes the organization of stuff on disk to eliminate seeking time 20:51:24 <_ArmannY> hi , anyone have node-cryptonote-util for xmr RandomX ? 20:57:22 <_ArmannY> nobody here ? 20:57:28 <_ArmannY> PING 1588798641 20:58:20 <_ArmannY> hi , anyone have node-cryptonote-util for xmr RandomX ? 21:00:58 holy crap 21:14:21 <_ArmannY> hi , anyone have node-cryptonote-util for xmr RandomX ? 21:16:45 <[discord] Arctic#5824>: hi , anyone have node-cryptonote-util for xmr RandomX ? 21:16:50 <[discord] Arctic#5824>: lmao 21:16:51 <[discord] Arctic#5824>: (edited) 21:22:58 <_ArmannY> https://github.com/Snipa22/node-cryptonote-util.git with this i get some error when i installed
