  I asked about this last night but went to bed before someone could respond, so here's my question again:

  Can someone help me troubleshoot Monero RPC calls with curl? I keep getting "empty reply from server".

  the client rpc call is where i ended up with a lot of fun.. --password is for the wallet not for rpc. not recommended but if you needed it blank it's --password "" --rpc-login user:pass formwat that matches what you defined on daemon start

  if for some reason you need the client rpc to login to the daemon if it won't by default you can force the params with --daemon-host ip:port --daemon-login user:pass (that matches whatever used) but don't think those are needed unless you forced them changed starting the daemon

  "daemon" above is monerod where client rpc is "monero-wallet-rpc" you need both and you need to curl the rpc not the daemon..
