This thing of converting the user guides is being a huge pain in the ass. I find issues at every corner. Now i'm stuck again because there seems to be some problems with the way the resulting converted file is encoded. Waiting for an answer from the po4a devs...

beside that, i've already tested this system on weblate and seems to be working fine. A lot more manual work than i would have hoped for, but it's the best we got for now.

Praying the gods for weblate to natively support markdown.

On this regard, i added 1 XMR from the Localization Workgroup treaury to the bounty to make the implementation happen.
