here is an example of a coin that came out of nowhere and is currently ranked higher than monero in marketcap

they have a big red Community button on the top of their website, that goes to their discord, which has 1000+ people online right now

IMO that is where we need to get to -- some small tweaks to better harness user interest

I will answer more extensively in the issue (not today, probably), but IMO adding social links at the bottom imply some kind of officiality (like the "official links of getmonero"). That's not the case. We used to list some freenode channel, but we removed that.

yeah, communities would be great - the site is just providing a list of established mediums/venues -- we can clearly denote which ones are "official/recommended"...let the visitors choose what they'd like
