At least 2 people are reporting problems when downloading the GUI for windows. Can anybody reproduce any of the 2 issues reported (downloaded CLI instead of GUI and broken download)?

actually now i do get a problem when downloading the Windows installer. The download fails

but if i click a second time it works

correting: it's not two people reporting, but the same guy opened two reddit posts. I think they clicked on the monerod file and they are opening the daemon by mistake, but it's unrelated with the issue with the installer.

I tried on firefox and chromium but i don't seem to be able to reproduce the problem with the installer anymore.

At the end the guy simply clicked on the daemon instead of the gui exe. I will keep an eye to the (unrelated) problem i experienced with the installer, let's see if it happens again.

Basically: the system that was used to tmake roadmap, user guides and dev guides translatable (basically all non _i18n/LANG.yml translations) doesn't really work and now that we are updating stuff it's becoming a bottleneck. I already fixed the roadmap and i'm investigating ways to have a working system for the user guides, but i think doesn't make much sense to have the dev guides translated. So i propose to have

those english only. Please take a look at the details in the issue ^

The moneropedia has the same problem (not scalable, impossible to keep the content updated for all languages), but that is much more complex to fix.
