Can I request to have permissions to merge to master for the website repo? When I will sign and upload binaries to the download box, I need to update the hashes shown on the website without delay for people not to freak out.

I don't think having that permission would change anything in terms of trust/security, as anyway I have from now access to upload the latest website master branch to the actual box.
