It is not. It was shortly accepted before being denied. If you know someone, feel free to try to get it accepted. If it'd just be commenting on the existing thread asking for it to be added, I think it'd just be seen as unwelcome spam (unless new compelling arguments are used).

The changes are pretty minimal for them, just offloading a few operations to the device-specific functions

but I don't want to make those changes without coordination

Mostly just research, unfortunately not much MRL research. However, I was previously working on XMR BTC atomic swap.

I'm hoping to get back to it, but I am not sure the current status of that project.
