Has anyone looked at monero-project/research-lab #54 ? It has no reply yet and randomrun has always suggested interesting things :D

I don't know if commitments are necessary since you can just calculate the merkle tree to verify a key image is part of that block

and to verify a list of key images is real, randomly sample it and calculate some merkle trees

not verify* since you can get attacked, but at least get some confidence

sarang it might be nice to have the monerologs.net link in the room's message. Also the meeting issue link has a period in it and goes to 404
