i don't expect it to be efficient

I'm reminded of a a program I loved to play with back in high school, called Visible 6502

which drew the ALU and other parts of the 6502 processor and showed data bits moving between registers etc. while executing a piece of machine code

that was extremely slow, but extremely educational

I believe using python or JS would also be extremely slow, but not convinced it would be equally educational
