sech1Ryzen 9 5900X stock, 3200MHz CL14 Memory - 13150 h/s
-
hychow's that compare to 3900?
-
sech1stock 3900X does less than 12 kh/s
-
sech1but it all strongly depends on RAM timings
-
sech1I'll test 5600X vs 3700X with the same memory and same clocks/thread count
-
sech1when I get 5600X
-
hycright. thought we were already near the ceiling for ddr4 3200
-
Inge-Think my stock 3900x with default ram settings was like 10.8Kh/s
-
asymptoticallymy 3900x with 3200 MHz memory does about 13.1 kH/s too. think the only setting changed in the bios is pbo current limit
-
asymptoticallyand a small core undervolt
-
Inge-3900x 1.08v 3.9GHz does 14600 with decebt 3200MT tuned memory
-
Inge-nemory subtimings unreasonably important
-

nioc3900x 1.1125v 4.0 Ghz 3200 CL14 tuned = 15,020
-
sech1yes, 12-core Ryzens are very sensitive to memory timings
-
sech116-core Ryzens too of course
-
sech1My 3700X is almost not limited by memory (3600 MHz 14-13-13-28), so it'll be easier to compare clock to clock
-
sech1I think +10% at the same clock
-
sech1
-
sech1same speed for 5900X, probably stock again
-
sech1This was with DDR4-3600 SDRAM, 16-19-19-39 (G.Skill TridentZ Neo F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC)
-
sech1I think Ryzen 3000 cores are just too powerful already and get limited by RAM
-
sech1Or maybe MSR mod doesn't work properly on Ryzen 5000. We'll see soon.
