Ryzen 9 5900X stock, 3200MHz CL14 Memory - 13150 h/s

how's that compare to 3900?

stock 3900X does less than 12 kh/s

but it all strongly depends on RAM timings

I'll test 5600X vs 3700X with the same memory and same clocks/thread count

when I get 5600X

right. thought we were already near the ceiling for ddr4 3200

Think my stock 3900x with default ram settings was like 10.8Kh/s

my 3900x with 3200 MHz memory does about 13.1 kH/s too. think the only setting changed in the bios is pbo current limit

and a small core undervolt

3900x 1.08v 3.9GHz does 14600 with decebt 3200MT tuned memory

yes, 12-core Ryzens are very sensitive to memory timings

16-core Ryzens too of course

My 3700X is almost not limited by memory (3600 MHz 14-13-13-28), so it'll be easier to compare clock to clock

I think +10% at the same clock

same speed for 5900X, probably stock again

This was with DDR4-3600 SDRAM, 16-19-19-39 (G.Skill TridentZ Neo F4-3600C16D-16GTZNC)

I think Ryzen 3000 cores are just too powerful already and get limited by RAM

Or maybe MSR mod doesn't work properly on Ryzen 5000. We'll see soon.
