Hi is there anyone who can help me figure out how or why my gui wallet wont connect

ive downloaded the new version of monero

3xs and now I cant even get into the wallet

whereas before I was trying to send coins and it would say daemon was too busy try again later but then when I tried again it would say the same thing

it just isnt connecting

and yesterday when it did it was erroneously saying it was when it wasnt

its says its connecting now but when I ck the status

it says 2021-02-04 18:16:47.617 I Monero 'Oxygen Orion' (v0.17.1.9-release)

Error: Couldn't connect to daemon: 127.0.0.1:18081

Run monerod with --log-level 1, wait a bit, see if it prints errors, or is busy syncing.
