can't begin to express how happy I am to finally see support for building static binaries with Docker

thanks xiphon for making this happen

this reduces so much friction with testing builds on Tails

will test building and binaries and report back

whats the difference between static and reproducible builds?

reproducible build means the resulting hash is reproducible / deterministic

static build means the libraries are statically linked so that the gui runs on all systems even if they don't have the libraries installed
