A full redesign not only costs a lot of time and dev power, it is quite a risky endeavor as well

No guarantee that it is better than the current design (which I personally like fwiw)

well i used the qt installer yet somehow got this qmake: could not exec '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/bin/qmake': No such file or directory
