Does the GUI do things with db directories itself ? monero-project/monero #6195

no it just passes --data-dir

gui seems much more responsive

is there anything being worked on for rpc payments?

im guessing it should be in the settings / node section

i don't think it needs to be too complicated. maybe just a toggle switch that says "mine for service"
