cryptonote_core.cpp/h looks like it should be renamed to ~monero_daemon_core or broken apart into its domains rather than "core"

although what i would really do is bring the init etc (actual daemon object specific) stuff into the actual daemon object and bring everything that's common to cryptonote/monero or reusable etc into a location where they can be called by whoever

e.g. as a guideline "cryptonote_core" is not where someone would go look if they found the codebase and wanted to see the blockchain db init code for the daemon

there's a lot of spaghetti in there due to the shoehorning of a DB into originally-non-db-oriented code

hyc: a lot of the delegate/handler type stuff doesn't seem too bad within that file actually, to me, although most of it does not really belong in a "cryptonote_core" to me .. there seems to be spaghetti into other files though like cryptonote_protocol_handler, etc

which has a "m_core" , .. but what really is a 'core', which has some kind of state at runtime

versus a daemon, and within the daemon, there are multiple aspects too

so m_core.handle_incoming_txs via protocol handler reaches into a (probably private) state modifying method of another object.. would be better to be placed in part of the public interface as something like "did_receive_txs"

the command line arg stuff for example, should be parameterized for the init in cryptonote_core ..
