To be fair, keys do get lost.

midipoet: no doubt; but 1. Monero was never a rebrand of Bitcoin Dark, 2. not all Monero contributors GPG-sign commits (and saying so would have been a more valid response), and 3. nobody who has ever used GPG in the existence of GPG has called it GNU Privacy Guard
