MmmmmmmmmmWhat is the best way to estimate the prevailing fee rate? I'm building a Monero application and I need to know how much to reduce the amount of XMR an individual will receive, as they'll be paying for the fee of the transfer of the funds to their wallets.
-
MmmmmmmmmmIs there an RPC command for it?
-
moneromoooYes. get_fee_estimate (or similar name).
-
moneromoooThe actual tx fee may depend on what priority you use though. Default is x1 if there's no pressure, x4 or x5 if there is some.
-
MmmmmmmmmmCan't find that command in the documentation. Searched for the word 'fee', which came up 27 times, but not in the context of `get_fee` I want to add it to my C# Library
-
MmmmmmmmmmI'm looking here: monerodocs.org/interacting/monero-wallet-rpc-reference/#stop_wallet
-
MmmmmmmmmmOh wait, might be in the Daemon RPC
-
MmmmmmmmmmYeah it's in the Daemon RPC
-
MmmmmmmmmmAlready in my Library

-
moneromoooI don't understnad this, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with code ?
-
