fluffypony: I did see them having some competition (or so) but not sure if Github PRs are the right place for that
-
selsta
multiple people have notifications enabled
-
selsta
but I don’t know what this competition is about :)

how are monero wallet .keys files encrypted?
-
vikrants
Are monero nodes acting crazy?
-
hyc
crazy how? my node looks pretty much same as always
-
Lyza
seems like some nodes might be running way far behind, perhaps an accidental network partition
-
Lyza
was just talking to <vikrants> about it and somebody else brought it up in #monero
-
hyc
maybe they're still talking to asshole peers
-
Lyza
yeah I linked to the PSA and suggested the blocklist / deleting p2p_state
-
xmr-pr
xiphon opened pull request #7020: wallet_api: TransactionHistory - fill unconfirmed out payments dests

yonatan1111
It seems like some nodes are having problems at the moment
-
yonatan1111
anyone else experiencing that?
-
Lyza
can you elaborate. what problems, which nodes? mine is fine. cake wallet guy was here a minute ago saying they were having issues but when I try to peep their nodes all I get is a timeout
-
yonatan1111
Yeah, that's what I am talking about.
-
Lyza
timeout usually means the node is overloaded in some way. lots of public nodes seem fine though seems like maybe it's just them having issues
-
Lyza
I checked a handful of other non-cake remote nodes and they were all fine
-
yonatan1111
Some of my friends are also having problems with their nodes, showing that there are only 10 block in the last 60 minutes
-
hyc
if it's overloaded, should see CPU use
-
hyc
or I/O waits
-
Lyza
I got the warnings about "9 blocks in 60 minutes" as well as a few others around 620 UTC today. My daemon re-orged at approx 1020 UTC
-
yonatan1111
Hmm, might be a cake only issue
-
Lyza
2 block re-org it looks like. maybe some nodes never re-orged
-
yonatan1111
for now they pointed the users to use node.xmr.to:18081
-
Lyza
or yeah maybe it's only cake nodes, thought you were having trouble with some others
-
Lyza
cool
-
vikrants
Yea moneroworld also was not working for me
-
tobtoht
target height > daemon height for all nodes I could check, this causes wallets to stop synchronizing
-
Lyza
moneroworld seems to have the correct block height now
-
vikrants
ok good
-
vikrants
we also pointed our node URLs to node.xmr.to:18081
-
vikrants
for the time being
-
vikrants
our nodes are not run by us anyway
-
selsta
vikrants: can you reach out to the operator of the cakewallet nodes and ask them to update to v0.17.1.4?
-
nioc
selsta: CLI is 0.17.1.3 :)
-
selsta
yep true
-
vikrants
Ok will do
-
vikrants
It’s xmr.ru
