17:04:56 <xmrscott[m]> Long story short, now proceding to move forward w/ creating MoneroCommunity Mastodon/Pleroma (think Twitter, but FOSS and federated over ActivityPub protocol) instance.

17:05:28 <xmrscott[m]> However a lot of instances aren't 'retweet' bot friendly. Then the Twitter hack happened last month and decided there really needed to be a fall back that we controlled.
17:05:31 <xmrscott[m]> Still in the process of working out some technical particulars w/ help from the hacking community, but I'm aiming to have the VPS company and servers be Switzerland based to try and protect users at least legally. Announcements will be PGP signed, etc etc.
