and being a member of the monero-project organization on Github

how else do you expect the subreddit to distinguish to newcomers between people who actually work on the project in some capacity, and random joes off the street?

'contributor' feels reasonably casual, it doesn't imply anything official, they just, you know, contribute...

We recently gave the xmr.ru people contributor tags, for example, and outreach as well

maybe outreach has their own

honestly I think I got the contributor flair for contributing to something other than the 'monero' repo

it would be good imo to have flairs for the workgroups mostly now that the community is more than just the 'monero' repo

as old reddit is eventually going away, so are the image flairs anyway. We stopped updating them in r/cc since they were 99% of the work of maintaining flairs
